Mute / Volume Changes in Global Layer

As far as I know, it is not yet possible to mute the global layers per song or part and the volume cannot be adjusted per part either. Perhaps I haven’t really understood the meaning behind the global layers, but I think this option would open up many possibilities.

Hi! you can do :slight_smile:
Go to “Actions and Shortcuts”, “Global Layer”
click “+”
Add:

  • Volume
  • Mute
    and set input to e.g. vMIDI1 and the data-type you’re going to control (e.g. CC#7 for volume)
    Now create midi track with clip content for each songs and add data for control (easier with MIDI List Eitor).
    This will create an automation via MIDI
