Muting Variaudio Segments

Cubase 8 Pro v 8.0.30. Windows 64

The Operation Manual states: “Using the Pitch & Warp Tool move the mouse pointer over the bottom center of a segment.
An x symbol appears.”

I have tried this… many times now and NO X appears, so, I can’t mute a segment.

Any Ideas?

You need to adjust the vertical zoom size of the segments (make them bigger vertically), before this mute ‘X’ will become visible. Use the zoom slider below the windows scroll bar at right-hand side.
