Got mine today. Excellent building quality, feels just great. BUT: you just can’t program this CC1! All profiles are fixed, can’t change buttons, no menu where you can select which function/command for which key. One profile is for stream deck, that one you can adjust of course, just like a normal stream deck And two profiles got fixed button in which you can change the key commands to your taste. But all the main profiles are fixed and not customizable. But is not a programmable controller. …

Based on what I’ve read about the Yamaha CC1 in the thread above, the FaderPort together with fp-wizard might be the best choice after all. It only costs half the price, so you can buy a Stream Deck separately if you need it. Nevertheless, I believe that there is also a target group of users for the CC1.

For me, the FaderPort is still the best choice.
