I just upgraded to Cubase 10.5.2 from Cubase 5.5.3. The program basically only opens if I don’t have any of my own plugins active, which renders it useless.
Cubase only opens 30% of the time when my plugins are active. All of my plugins are updated. Most are Waves.
My Cubase 5.5.3 always opened and worked everytime with all the same plugins using the 64-bit version. I only upgraded cause I wanted get all the new features that I thought I was missing for the past 10 years.
I am now reloading my old Cubase 5.5.3 so that I can finish mixing my album.
Keep me posted if any one has a fix for all the bugs I been reading about.
