Hi,
you need to be more specific than that. What do you mean by “terminated”? No valid license, crash? What happened before, circumstances? Screenshots? Cubase version (Pro, Artist etc), OS…

That’s the cause (the midiman midisport). Although the stack trace was a bit strange for that. But anyway.

That’s an inMusic driver-based device. The inMusic drivers all hang on close. The result is you can run a MIDI app once, but when the app closes the connection, the driver hangs.

We have a preview fix for this on the discord server, as described in the pinned post here. However, the in-Windows fix starts rolling out tomorrow. It will take up to 30 days to be enabled for anyone who has updates enabled and current.

But that fix went into Windows 11 in April. If you haven’t blocked updates, you have it now. There’s nothing to download.

The one issue in that driver we cannot work around is if you unplug it while it’s open in an app. Then, it’ll crash MIDI on the PC.
