  1. Have you installed this driver? https://download.steinberg.net/downloads_hardware/Yamaha_Steinberg_USB_Driver/Mac/3.1.1/YSUSB_V311_Mac.zip

  2. Have you ALLOWED it in the security settings in OSX System Prefs/Security and Privacy/General TAB?
