Porsche announced last week the new features available for its 2027 Taycan electric vehicle. E-Shift is a new option that creates a virtual transmission with sounds and motions that simulate a high-end internal combustion engine. While watching the video with Porsche representatives explaining E-Shift, I was very pleasantly surprised to see Nuendo shown in the background. I could also see plugins such as Fabfilter Pro Q3 and Kilohearts Phase Plant. They’ve made great sound production choices.
