My female singer says, that she sounds like in a bubble

My female singer says, that she sounds like in a bubble. I used EQ to remove low and and to take the top end too. I used deesser, and compresser, and a side chained reverb. I tried all kinds of adjustments, but she says, that she sounds like in a bubble. think it sounds good on 6 different speakers, but I would like her to be satisfied too. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Post a sample. Adjectives do nothing for me. I need to hear it.

here is an audio file

I’m not sure what she means by being in a bubble but I’d take the reverb off and let her hear it and see if she still thinks it’s a bubble she’s in.

Hi rumlee,

To make a proper judgement we need to hear it in context (with the music) and not just an isolated vocal smothered in reverb?

Kind regards
