Hello everyone new guy here and totally lost, and totally new to Computer Recording. I have a question I have a CI1 Interface is there any advantage/disadvantage to using a mixer between my recording microphones and the interface. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

Usually you probably would be best just plugging the mic straight into the interface.
Well if the mixer has features the CI doesn’t have then yes, it has an advantage. For basic recording the CI is fine though, most features usually found on hardware mixers can be done in software as well so you shouldn’t need one unless you prefer working with hardware.
