My Horn in F does not transpose

Dorico Pro 5 here. My Horns in F (no key signature) sound exactly as written. But I would the written middle C to sound as F3, as is the case in all the scores I’m transcribing.

I found this using ‘edit instrument definition’:

I would like my score to be a ‘transposing score’. How do I achieve that? (And, just out of interest, why is that not a default when using transposing horns? Doesn’t the choice of ‘Horn in F (no key sig)’ from the instrument list imply that the instrument transposes?)

You can set the score to be in “Concert Pitch” or “Transposing Pitch” at the bottom left of the document window.

Also, under the Edit menu. And in Layout Options > Players.

Some people prefer a score to be entirely in ‘actual’ pitch. Others prefer the opposite.
