Thank you!!!
I also have usability issues regarding the many clicking i have to do in VST Live to get a song setup with all parts and their correct lengths.
Could you add an option to export/import some human readable files like json?
I tried opening the tempo .mprjtempo
, song .vlsong
and project .mediaprj
but they seem to be binary data.
Any chance you could give a hint how to read and edit those in a text editor?
My usecase is the following. I write sheet music in guitar pro or musescore, sometimes musicXML. I would like to have a easy method to make changes i made to the sheets (e.g. repeat bars 5-8 2x more, or change tempo or add a bar here and there) reflect in the VST live song with out editing all the part numbers by hand again.
Since I am a software delevoper any readable file format would do, i can do the hacking myself then
Hi @heavy-matill,
It’s not possible to edit those files.
I guess we need to find why it’s not possible for you to get those tasks done? You are talking about the TRACKS area? They you have a Tempo- and Signature track. To the left there is an inspector showing you all the tempo and signatures events. Select an event and you are able to edit it.
To Repeat a specific range, just mark the events and duplicate them.
Where can I help? What’s missing?
Michael.
