I’m early Finale crossgrade. Dorico 5 installed and activated early, but not eligible for free Dorico 6 upgrade. No problem, I’ve paid my $99.99 and got the code to install Dorico 6. But, while the Steinberg website recognizes my password, the downloader does not. And, there’s no “forgot my password” option (which I didn’t, since Steinberg accepts it). So, I’ve paid for this upgrade and can’t download it. WHAT DO I DO?
This exact thing happened when I first got the crossgrade to Dorico 5.
Is it possible you have two email addresses and used different one’s to access the account.
Usually one received a download code in one’s receipt email and uses that in the Steinberg Download Assistant (SDA). Is that where you are stuck, or are you having problems with the Steinberg Activation Manager (SAM), which does (if I recall correctly) use the same password as one’s Steinberg account?
