hello there , i have a M-audio keystudio 49 controller and i cant get the pitchbend wheel to work , I’m using cubase elements 15 on windows 11 , its driving me mad as I’m big on synth solos with lots of bending , any ideas folks ? thanks in advance for any help.

Look at the Studio > Studio Setup. Do you have a Mackie Control device there? What is its MIDI Input Port?
Do you use Quick Controls, what is its MIDI Input Port?
Double-check the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter. By default, only SysEx is filtered out for both Record and Thru.
You can also attach screenshots of these screens, so we can verify.
Do you recall if you installed an m-audio driver for that, or did you just plug it in and let Windows decide?
If unsure, please right-click the Windows logo on your taskbar, choose “Device Manager” and then go down to “Sound, video, and game controllers”, find the Keystudio, right click it and choose properties. Then please paste a the screenshot of that first tab of the window that comes up (this popup window):
