My products do not appear in Steinberg Licensing

If I remove the USB e-licenser following VST kits are flagged unlicenced, I had no way of moving these to the Activation Manager, can you help move these as I would like to stop using the USB dongle if possible and have all under activation manager

  • Purple

Halion:

I have a ticket open with Steinberg Support with no reply for several days …

From the look of the names on that list, aren’t most/all those all 3rd-party things? ie …not made in-house or owned by Steinberg.

Maybe Steinberg no longer themselves have contracts for using/distributing those

If so, maybe the various 3rd parties who created them (if you can find those guys) may have a solution.

These are all sold still in various packages by Steinberg, I can also see them in Download Manager, however not flagged as my Products (with or without USB e-Licencer)

You didn’t mention vouchers, did you check that?

There were and are no vouchers unfortunately. I kept looking …

Is this elicenser registered in MySteinberg?

If the products are transferred to Steinberg licensing and certainly some if not all of those are then you should have had vouchers for the transfer. You’ll need official support to get that sorted …at least you can still use them on elicenser while you wait.

Yes indeed, it is registered, I had vouchers for other products which got transferred but they obviously missed these… In fact all in e-Licenser visible products got transferred ok, but these VTS’s and I have been waiting for support for weeks now …

I have these few, and I received vouchers for them. I’d suggest a Support Ticket, or an appeal to someone such as @Matthias_Quellmann

I never received vouchers for any of these unfortunately, have a ticket (#713118) open and have been waiting … and waiting for support to look into this.

Does Steinberg Support still exist?

Unreal, my ticket was closed, unanswered. Received this email:

Dear customer,
Please excuse the significant delay in responding to your request and for not having met your expectations.
Is the request still pending? If so, please submit a new ticket and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Does anybody know what is going on here?

Out of curiosity…

  1. What’s your os? Windows 11, right?
  2. Which Cubase Pro do you now own that’s not e-licenser based? Cubase 14 Pro? Or for that matter, which elicenser-based Cubendo have you last been oriented around for use with Halion etc?

1 - Yes, Windows 11 Pro
2 - Yes, Cubase 14 Pro (don’t understand the rest of your question)

Personally, I’d chunk things down myself at this point. For example,

I’m in LA, would call sb on the phone, say hey, Dark Planet for Halion is only available in my elicenser…please help me get a Steinberg activation for it instead…I own cb14 on win11 pro.

I’d see how fast that successfully occurs…test it .. and then do a return phone call in a few days re the others.

Phone calls seem to work very well for me with sb on the few occasions I use it. Of course, no idea where you are or if you have phone support where you are.

If you’re limited to using tickets…
maybe open a new one, asking about 1 item instead of all 12 (or however many on your list). Just to see If things speed up.

just an opinion

I took your advice and gave support a call. They are inundated with written requests hence why my ticket is still pending. However, my licensing issue is clarified and resolved now. Thanks for the tip.

Cool!
