I use the new score editor quite a bit to create harmonies with my viola and cello section SWAM audio modeling tracks to move them up or down by thirds or sixths I also do a lot of blocking of phrases within those tracks by using the mouse and then pressing delete.
I have noticed that when you do a lot of new score editing such as what I have described above, my Windows 11 computer gets locked up and there’s no dump file. I don’t use a laptop I use a Dell tower computer with a minimum of 64 gigs ram and over 20 TB of drive space My processor is at the top of the list
I do a lot of editing for five days a week in my recording studio and I need to save my project by just guessing when this lockup is going to occur
I do feel that the developers of the new score editor should look into this, mimic what I have described aboveand to see why this is occurring
I always have the latest version installed with my CB 14 Pro
