Mysteinberg account problem

My email address associated with my licenses was deleted by some imposter as I got you changed your email address(which I didn’t). I assume all my licenses they have gone to the imposter email address ? I had to create my email address again as it wasn’t registered apparently to steinberg. What should do ?

First of all, did you login to your Steinberg account to check your licenses? That should still work, as long as your password works.

If you are logged in there you can change the email address of your Steinberg account to a new address and also change your password. Ideally you should also enable two-factor authorization on your Steinberg account.

You haven’t mentioned what licenses you have, but just taking over is not that simple. If you have USB eLicenser it can’t be done without access to the phyiscal device.

So start with checking your profile first.

You need to contact Steinberg support. They will probably ask for proof like invoices etc.

@JuergenP was faster and he provided excellent advice. In case this doesn’t work out contacting support would be the last resort.
