N14.0.41 Bug CONFIRMED: Why does Phase button not Q-link or Link?

I have two channels and want to flip their phase as a test against another pair. Currently, creating a LINK in the mixer between channels does not have the option to link Phase 0/180. Also, holding ALT+SHIFT to access quick link does not work.

Why not?

Works fine in Nuendo 12 here.

Yes, it does, although there might be a difference between macOS and Windows. Will check tomorrow when I’m sitting in front of the workstation, not the MacBook.

Have you checked the Link settings?

Possible bug then. Not working on Nuendo 14 in Windows. Have checked the Edit Link settings… and phase is not an option in that menu. Double checked the Q-Link function is also not working for PHASE button in mixer.

Using Quick Link here (this won’t work for link groups) and no issues with N14 on Windows either. Perhaps a prefs issue on your system or a session issue.

N14_q-link

Yep, N14.0.41 (windows 11) All Quick Link works as it should except for QL of the Phase button. Regarding the ‘Link Group Dialogue’ it does not show Phase as part of the options (it never has).

Can you clarify? You are saying that Phase does not QuickLink for you? … “except for QL of phase”

I haven’t deleted preferences yet, but I have the same experience in different projects. Will try to delete prefs when time allows.

It’s not working. Phase does not Quicklink (all other Quick link Touch parameters work fine)

Weird that its works for you. Which build of N14 are you on?

Version installed looks to be 14.0.30. We don’t use Nuendo 14 so it wouldn’t have been updated after initial install testing before we reverted back to v12.

Cheers, so your Screen Video grab of it working was N12?

No. It was from Nuendo 14 (you can tell by the regressed interface).

Seems that 14.0.30 works then and 14.0.41 does not.

Does it work on your N14 14.0.41?

Just installed the latest update (14.0.41) and it is indeed broken. At least you know which build it worked in now.

Excellent report. Thanks to everyone who chipped in to confirm. Certainly this will get patched back to normal operation.
