Think I found a bug… when I am in Range Selection tool mode and want to extend an already existing range from a couple of audio tracks to more audiotracks and some group tracks I get a hard crash. N14 disappears instantly.
More details:
I use shift to extend the track (which I setup in Preferences / Tool Modifiers for Audio Segment Editing. It crashes on empty tracks and tracks with data.

I’ve just tested it, and there is definitely an issue with extending the Range using Shift into Group Tracks, VCA Tracks, and FX Tracks at least. Audio and Midi tracks work as intended. Without holding the shift key, everything works fine, at least on my system.

Thanks for showing it is a bug. Perhaps it has to do with the new Segment feature?
Anyway please SB fix this asap!

Can confirm on Win11 23H2, shift for the Tool Modifiers for Audio Segment Editing causes the issue and for me ‘A serious problem has occured’
