N14 mediabay attributes setup (view of columns) is not saved. please give us presets!

Hi,

so mediabay, the bane of my existence but yeah I have to deal with it.
I want to be able to close a session and after restarting I want to find the mediabay the same way I left it. It always starts with the completely unusable attributes/fields/columns like path channels and content summary. I want takes/scene/reel for example. I have to set it up every single time I open up a session after a restart (so next day for example.
Why?

In general:
Is it really so hard to give users consistent Preset management on every feature?
I’m thinking of modulators (that stores presets without values?!), but there are probably other views/setups. Please please please SB fix these things.

Ps I just found a topic from 2018 with a similar request/issue.

Ok since SB probably will never respond to this I started digging into the preferences files. There is a defaults.xml and it stores attributes. I’m gonna try on my other computer to see if this works. but this list looks a lot like what I described above.UColumnList" ID=“105553275160976”>
