First bug I’ve found, exporting a video file.
I’ve selected the region to create a new video file with the audio content of my session. The audio content includes dialogue and music (one track each). The video is ok, and the dialogue track is in perfect sync, but the music track is late by 2 seconds.
Steinberg, could it be possible that you test more deeply the new features of each new version before launching it? I suppose that you have tested it, but it’s not enough, and it’s a shame to base on user experience (issues and bugs found) to improve or solve a problem. I’ve just entered the forum today and there are, at least, 4 topics with issues related to new features. Just one day after launch!!!
Not seeing that here.
What OS are you using? What settings are you using in the Export video dialogue? (screenshot please). What is the frame rate and Record Format of the project concerned? Can you share the project or a small test project which suffers from this issue?
First of all, thanks for the super fast answer.
I’m using Windows 11. I attach a screencapture of the Video Export dialogue and another of the project window. The two soloed tracks are the ones I’m including in the video: a dialogue track (DX) and a track with the previously rendered Music Mockup (Mockup).
Sadly, I can’t share the project or a sample of it. Apart of all the amount of tracks involved, I can’t share any file from this project due to privacy agreement with the production company.
In Windows 11 (latest), I exported a video matching your Export Video window settings and including two audio tracks. Result: no sync issues were encountered.
You could maybe start Nuendo in safe mode and then test if the delay on one of the audio tracks still occurs. Also, are either of the tracks using any plug-ins?
Without seeing a test project I have no further suggestions.
Maybe someone else can test this.
