I tried starting a sound design project in Nuendo 15, but since the deadlines are tight, I immediately switched back to Nuendo 14. I need to do a lot of DOP with RX for vocal processing, and it crashes the project instantly.
I tried starting from a blank project and it’s the same thing. I’m sadly on Windows 11.
I’ll take the time to revisit it once this new version is stable.
Be sure that all of the RX-VST2 .dll’s are removed from your system.
Having both VST2 and VST3 installed is asking for problems.
Well … it would help if they made proper installers…

They are all removed, I only have the VST3 .dll. It works totally fine on the N14 (except the known issue on the DOP process with large amount of files).
And for the record: There is a problem with DOP, it’s apparently been known for quite some time now, and contrary to the last communication I saw it’s not limited to iZotope’s RX plugin. Different problems arise with DOP.
Within specific limits in v13 I trust it. V14 and above, not so much.
Incredibly frustrating.
We use iZotope RX Advanced 11 extensively in the DOP (Deep Office). It’s practically running around the clock. We haven’t encountered any problems on three PCs (Windows 11 Pro). It runs under N15 as well as N14. (Of course, all plugins on the computers must be VST3.)
We restore historical sound recordings and have timelines spanning several days and projects totaling around 1000 GB. That alone can’t be the whole story.
