The “waiting for video service” issue is still under investigation.

The random crashes while working isn’t a common issue, so it must be related to something within your system. Standard troubleshooting should help you find out the cause: e.g. Reset Nuendo’s preferences (and most importantly, old Nuendo versions’ preferecnes), disable plugins, repair disk permissions, optimize your OS, disconnect devices, update drivers, etc. etc.
