I’m really happy with n5.5 & wonder if I shouldn’t just get live for major super important records to import into 5.5 for editing…???
(Not that N5 has ever let me down since moving to a 64bit Mac …)

it depends on your focus. Nuendo Live is a pure live-recording application, rock solid and recommended
to record large gigs efficiently. It just has limited editing capabilities and no plug-in support.
Nuendo 6 is of course for post-pro.
So it always depends on what you want to do.
