Natural harmonic signs currently appear above slurs. In my view, they should be positioned directly above or below the noteheads, with the slur outside them.
This is especially relevant in string writing, where the small circle for a natural harmonic functions more like a note-related sign than a general playing technique placed outside the slur. Fingerings can be positioned inside slurs in Dorico, but natural harmonic signs cannot be treated in the same way at present.
I am aware that this issue is already known to the Dorico team, and that it has been discussed before. I would simply like to ask whether this is planned to be addressed in Dorico Pro 7.
