"natural" playing technique for strings produces sustained low note

Dorico 6.2.30 Another struggle with imported Finale files: In some of these files I get the annoying low sounding F0 midi note, stemming from the “natural” playing technique. I tried transposing it in the expression maps, but I cant get rid of it. Any ideas?

That’s probably a key switch. If you apply the auto-playback template, do you still hear it? Otherwise perhaps you could select all, Edit->filter for note by pitch and delete them.

There is probably a mismatch between the expression map(s) you are using and the VST Instrument(s) you have loaded for playback.

You are right, again:-) Auto playback template fixed it. I am not sure I understand why, though. I tried different expression maps, before applying auto playback …But thank you!
