This has been bugging me for a while, wondering if it’s happening to anyone else out there and if there’s a solution- often when I make a selection Dorico jumps to another part of the score, and my selection is off screen. I usually return to where I was by hitting P, Dorico will start playback from the object I just selected, and I can hit stop and resume what I was doing. I understand why this is happening when I select something like a long pedal line or slash region, but it also happens when I select small items. Is there anyway to stop Dorico from navigating on it’s own? If not, I’d like to at least understand this behavior more. Maybe there’s something in my workflow I’m unaware of that’s causing this?
How did I miss that. At least I know now I’m not alone in this struggle!
