Cannot my wat through many pages and drilldowns to simply download Dorico Pro 6 and pay for the Upgrade so that my ‘licensed’ Dorico Pro 5 will continue. Can someone point out a step-by-step outline so that I csn accomplish this. The last time I tried I was able to download’ but never got to pay for the upgraded license. Consequently, the software would not install.

Once you complete your purchase, you’ll receive a Download Access Code via email. Go to:
and click the red Redeem Download Access Code button, then paste in the Download Access Code you received in your email.
Now run Steinberg Download Assistant (SDA) and let it update itself. If it says it can’t connect to the Internet, download the latest version of Steinberg Download Assistant from our web site here:

Install SDA if required, then run it. You may be prompted to sign in, in which case do so with your Steinberg ID email address and password. Then look under the left-hand side for My Products. You should see Dorico Pro 6 listed there.
Select Dorico Pro 6 on the left, then look for the Install All button on the right-hand side. Click that, and wait for all the progress bars to turn green; several of them will also show a tick or checkmark inside it.
Once all of that is done, you can run Dorico Pro 6 either from the Desktop icon (if you’re on Windows) or from its icon in the Applications folder (if you’re on macOS).
My recollection is that, before I even receive an e-mail with an access code, the access code appears on the receipt shown on the web once I have paid for the upgrade. That saves me waiting for the e-mail; I can just copy the access code from the online receipt and paste it into the Download Assistant.
