Need a controller to control CC messages

I am desperate !!!
I need a Midi controller and in fact I have :
1 PlatformM+,2 Console 1,3 Console Fader 1
(I also had a PreSonus FaderPort 8)
and none of them want to work in user mode on my PC. …why not on mine? :

I work mainly in midi and need a controller to control CC messages.
For a while I was able to work in MIDI mode with PlatformM+ adventure which I described here:

The iCON Platform M+ exits (disconnects) from MIDI (User Defined) mode when installing a new project window (even when there is an empty project) in Cubase 12. I’ve tried changing the USB sockets and it doesn’t change anything. There are many examples on YouTube of PM+ working in user mode. With me it looks like PM+ works fine if I don’t enable the project window in Cubase12 … but why do I need such a vst plugin? Is it not the fault of my PC? What could possibly be wrong? Could you be more specific, please? What do you mean by the user mode, please?

user mode means MIDI mode
For PlatformM+, this means User Define mode as opposed to Mackie mode.
