You can ask AI to do a script for you. I did one with the help of Claude. Refer it to this doc Introduction | MIDI REMOTE API and a MIDI mapping of the DM2000 (if available). You can tell it that you don’t want to write a line of code, it will generate the JS file for you to put in the Cubase’s folder.

I just did a whole integration of the Ableton Push 2, it’s amazing how it worked out!

Interesting, @mbourque . Was it working right away? Or how many times did you ask it to adjust? Did you use Claude.ai or Claude Code? And: did you have to use a paid subscription?

I use Claude.AI. In an hour, I had a functional bridge and script (the JS script is not enough to use the Push 2 in an advanced way with Cubase/Nuendo). It took around 50 hours to have an complete v1. I did pay for a subscription because I was not patient enough. The limit of usage comes fast when coding, but in my case, I had multiple Python files and a JS. I guess it will be much simpler to generate only a JS to use with the DM200.

You can see more about what I’ve done in this thread Push 2 / Nuendo & Cubase Bridge — Free, Open-Source Controller Integration - #7 by mbourque

i will check it out, however i would rather pay someone on here for use of there’s and i know it will work etc.
i am blown away with this AI stuff ,although i am still old school on the creative side of it , i think this usage is awesome and legit….
we shall see.
hope one of our guys pipes up with “ use Mine “
anways thanks so much for helping
Cheers .

Yeah, I understand your point. I was reluctant too at first. The fact is the Push I had was sitting there and mostly unused because Ableton Live’s workflow doesn’t fit my needs most of the time, but the Push 2 is an amazing controller. I took the leap and go ahead with AI. It made me realize the time it would have take to do it the “old way” (without AI).

I wish you find someone who has what you need!
