I have a working computer but I’m really not satisfied with the way Cubase works in it..I’m far from being tech savvy.. always asking questions here..so here’s another one..is the image here a good computer for Cubase 15 Pro. One of the reasons that I want another computer is the glitches..my pointer has like a hair trigger..panels and screens pop up for no reason.. sometimes you click on and it works and sometimes it doesn’t..just irritating..maybe it’s the processor or something, I don’t know..

That computer is about 9 years old.
If you’re not that “tech savy” how do you know that computer is better than the one you have?
Is it a laptop? If it’s a desktop, does it happen if you use a different mouse?
If this was happening to me I’d do a complete re-install from scratch (delete the C: drive and start from there (and maybe buy a new mouse)), before splashing out for a new computer.
And if I was getting a new computer, I’d buy a new one.
I think the worst piece of hardware in that computer is the 7200 RPM, which is an old and obsolete drive, changing it for an SSD would bring much life to your machine.
Regarding the Windows 11 problem, I am not going to say much, but it is well known that it is possible to install it on many old computers.
EDIT: a fresh re-install of Windows, but on an SSD drive (not mechanical as that 7200 RPM thing) would be also my first choice, as stated above.

It’s a ..Dell desktop.. Optiplex 9010. I don’t think it’s the mouse but if I ever get a chance to test it I will.I don’t have another mouse

Look, the specs you posted earlier do not match what you’re telling us now.
Yes, it is most wise to buy a new computer. The one you are considering buying is dated. Due to an increase in SSD/M.2 and Memory prices, anything “new” is going to cost you. That is why I first asked what’s your budget?

If properly managed that pc you posted should still give enough performance for some projects. Heck, I’m also still on 8gen, 8700k, in a streamlined pc, with a pci interface, and it still rocks. No one but you know your budget constraints, so it’s not a bad machine at all, albeit a bit pricey for the age. Try to shave a hundred bucks… Then really massage windows for proper realtime audio work, and get a decent interface with good asio driver - you should obviously also take that expense into account, and it can mean another 300€, depending on your specific needs.
I have 3 audio interfaces.. One is a Steinberg Interface..I just want the computer glitches to stop and move faster..the computer I have won’t be able to get updates for Windows 10, so I need one that will have Windows 11 along with the sale
Before you spend a bunch of cash .. Try a dedicated graphics card. Onboard graphics uses your RAM. Offload to get back CPU cycles and a smoother operating system interface. Keep Windows 10/11 and its cache on an SSD drive. If you can, record to an SSD drive. Attach your audio interface to a USB port with direct access to the CPU stack. You’ll find info in your MB’s manual. Record your performances with small buffer sizes. Mix and master with larger buffer sizes. + Always put your helmet under your seat when you fly over the target.
