I just had my macbook pro wiped clean and the OS reinstalled by apple. I restored everything back to where it was using time machine. Everything seemed okay but when I click on the cubase icon, cubase will not open. Do I have to totally reinstall cubase? Can someone help me out ASAP! I have a rehearsal tomorrow.
I would reinstall. A lot of the pertinent systems routing were probably compromised.

I know this is waaaaaay too late for your rehearsal
but the answer is yes.
I just went thru a similar situation where Apple recalled
and replaced my iMac’s hard drive.
‘Time Machine’ is very handy and convenient for
recovering files etc but is not suitable as a ‘clone restore’.
In the future check out the apps ‘Carbon Copy Cloner’ or ‘Super Duper’
for making a ‘bootable’ disk image of your Mac.
I believe they are both still free, but don’t quote me on that.
HTH (hope this helps)
