Need Help: Editing Rendered MIDI File

I rendered a MIDI piano track in place. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to re-activate the MIDI again, so I can edit it.

The MIDI track is now white-gray and, although I can trigger the MID sounds when I am in the key editor, when I mute the audio and press “play”, the MID track does not generate sound (even though the instrument seems to be loaded.

The original MIDI is muted. Change to Mute Tool and tap the greyed-out clips.

You can disable this if you want in Render In Place Setup
