I am hopeful that I can use the SSL UF8 for transport controls and use the master fader at least with Wavelab 13. The manual says the following:
“To open the Remote Devices tab, select File > Preferences > Remote Devices. I tried SSL V Midi Port 1, 2, and 3, and none cause the transport controls to work.”
I would assume with the SSL 360 software, I keep it in Cubase DAW mode.
“Import Opens the file browser, where you can select a map definition file (XML file) supplied by a MIDI device manufacturer or another WaveLab Pro user, for example.”
I went to File Browser, import, but I don’t see what option where I can select a map definition supplied by SSL. There is Zip, Video, DDP, CD Cue, AES-31, unknown audio, and Audio CD.
Any help would be appreciated.
