(sorry for my poor english. i’m not native speaker)
after formatting my computer, and i want to open my session but i can’t.
if i open my session, it suddenly turns off. and after that, if i open cubase, safe mode pop up and it says
“the application was terminated with an error while executing the following file : C:\windows\system32\kernelbase.dll”
and please check my attchements.

I had the same problem after install waves pulgins v.11. Not solved yet.
Wondering if there is a fix out there for this kernel.dll error I’ve been getting a lot. Which crashes and terminates cubase.

Turns out it was windows update related. Watched vid doing some scan of your computer with command prompt. Do that, several (YouTube videos out) then reboot. Problem solved.
Always happens to me too. Nothing to do with updates for me. I’m already up to date, & it’s doing it to me now. Looks like no one from Steinberg has even attempted to answer this question on this post/thread.
