Assuming competency. If you buy a high end, very complex program like Cubase 7 (as opposed to say, Sequel maybe) then one has to assume a certain level has been attained, certainly after reading the manual for a few weeks. Otherwise people at the other end (and with vast experience of analog & digital recording mainly) of confusing posts WILL assume they are dealing with, let’s say, a bit less than compos. All you see are the responses. They are well outnumbered by the people who read but ignore the post who could / would, in all probability be more responsive and provide more answers and solutions.
The rule of thumb for the observer is; If you have to ask certain questions then it is quite likely that the response will not be understood as readily. And people like to keep answers brief if they can as it’s no use wading through long techie posts only to find, infuriatingly, that the answer is no use.
So, if you feel a little waspish try to accompany it with a little honey. Oil the wheels. :wink: And the forum geniuses will answer.
