I’ve been having crashes in Cubase 14 when I try and create new workspaces. It’s not reliably happening so I don’t know how to replicate it, however, it does cause some funny business with some hardware. Specifically Softube fader MK3 where the connection between certain tracks will stop reflecting, eventually stop showing most tracks except a few, and not unload when I quit cubase. It corrupts the project and I’ve remade countless templates trying to work around it or prevent it from happening & have also reset preferences. I’ve gone through support with them and they don’t seem to know whats causing it, but I don’t think the problem is on their end.
The workspace is what is causing it recently, but I actually suspect there might be a corrupted plugin or instrument. I don’t know how to go through a crash log or how to figure this out.

I wasn’t able to replicate the crash like that. neither in a new empty project with one instrument, nor in an existing project w/ many tracks.

This crash happened in a project I made to backup templates in case the project becomes corrupted. It happened while closing Cubase during unloading mixconsole. The only thing I noticed that was odd was some of the tracks were not highlighted in their respective colors until I selected them, but generally the issues described above don’t appear until i’ve been working in the project for sometime.
Does this crash give you any insight on if there is something wrong in my system? Or anything I can do to prevent it?
