I am trying to export the midi from one single instrument track in Cubase 6.0.5. My project has several instrument tracks that contain midi, but I need to know how to create a midi file that contains only the midi for one specific track. So far I have tried several things…including selecting the desired track, trying several different combinations of midi export options when the dialog box pops up, and in the Preferences. But in all cases it creates a midi file that contains ALL midi / instrument track that are in my project. Then when I try to import the midi file into another project its a complete mess…meaning it creates multiple instrument / midi tracks, the midi notes are out of sync and not in their original position, etc. Does anyone know how to create a midi file from cubase for one specific midi / instrument track and also correctly? Any tips would be appreciated.
