Hi,
a while ago I have encountered an issue which occured in Cubase 12 (still in 12.0.70). Now I just checked with the newest 13.0.21 if they fixed it, but they didnt, so I hope with your help I can find a solution or at least raise some attention of the dev team to fix this if their schedules allow:
If I use two screens (1. with FHD and 100% scaling, 2. with 2560*1600 and 125% scaling set in Windows), I have to scroll minimally in all “Controller Lanes” of the MIDI editing (“Key Editor”) to see the last upper/lower values.
It doesn’t matter how large I drag the controller lane, I always have to scroll.
This is very annoying with fine editing, e.g. when selecting sustain automations that always go from 0% to 100%, or when very lightly played notes are not visible in the velocity controller track because I would have to scroll down to see them.
The problem does not exist if I set the scaling settings of the 2nd screen to 100% in Windows, and also not if I deactivate the HiDPi mode in Cubase,
and also not if I have activated the HiDPi mode but set the scaling settings below that to e.g. “-25%”.
The problem only occurs when I open the MIDI editing in a separate window or the lower zone on the higher-resolution 2nd screen and not when it first opens on the 1st screen in one of the two areas.
I find the scaling as I normally set it, most comfortable for using Cubase and would like to keep it, because otherwise some things will be too small on one screen.
I already informed the support twice without any reaction, that’s why I’m writing here.
I attached a screenshot how it looks on the 2nd screen.
