Nested replies

Hello All,

I don’t own or run this forum but I do run other Discourse forums. Many people here ask for nested reply views all the time. This feature has now been developed - albeit currently somewhat experimental - and can be enabled. It require the forum admin to do that.

I hope the forum owner can see fit to turn that on. Indeed many people will appreciate it.

We are keeping an eye on the development of the nested replies feature in Discourse, but we don’t feel it’s ready for prime time yet.

It is experimental, yes. I am using it and its great. You can collapse and expand reply trees, similar to how mail clients do it.

Well, I hope it becomes ‘ready for prime time’ soon, because I would welcome it enthusiastically.
