New Behaviour in setup Mode?

Double clicking on a staff in Setup mode brings you directly in Write mode… is this a new and welcomed behaviour in Dorico 5;1.10 or was it there the whole time ?

For what it’s worth, I recently added that nugget of info to the manual.
