New Computer - Fresh install of a Wavelab Elements 11

Hi,

My old computer is running Wavelab Elements 10 fully licenses etc.

Iu have bought a new computer and tried to install a license I bought for Elements 11 , but the licensing stage failed. Maybe I need to somehow transfer eLicesnor from the old computer?

Can somebody please help me with step by step instruction?

Many thanks!

OK, tried to eLicensor migration thing as describeb and all my licenses appear to have vanished.

Please help urgently

Please contact Steinberg support for this.

thanks, done. Let;s hope they are as responsice as you are!

That would be a no, unfortunately

One week after and not a peep from support. PG, is there anything you can do?

I have a feeling ever since Steinberg was acquired by Yamaha, you have to find email for Yamaha support in your country and email them.

Thanks fellas. I followed instructions exactly as described, fist the “autmated wizard” where I input the elicensor numbers for the 2 computers, and then when that failed I sent a message to support as directed.

If they are unable to untagle the licesning crapware they have constructed on top of PG’s otherwise excellent software it’s time for me to move on

Meanwhile another threatening email message saying I must do something I am clearly unable to achieve

Hi, please do not break your head over wavelab elements.

I have licesnese for Spectral Layers Pro, Cubase, Wavelab Elements, and software and drivers to go with my UR 44 interface. All zapped into the ether, pending Steinberg suppprt getting its act together.

Fortunately my livelihood does not depend on access to this software. Otherwise I would have moved on long ago

For the time being see if you have wavelab le that comes with hardware. Which country are you from?

Afraid I have no intention of wasting any more time in this endeavour. According to the email I posted above Steinberg customer services appear to have 3 days to get their act together before my licences self-destruct and I walk away

if you are in the US, Steinberg has a chat customer care.

What country are you from? I remember contacting Yamaha and they asked all my invoices I do not know why, I sent them all invoices and now there is no reply for two months. I think ever since Yamaha took over; they are working on dial up connection on the internet. I may have an extra LE Voucher with me.

Deleted the post. Looks like something may have happened but nobody sent me an email. Taking another stab now!

Yep, appears to have been somehow activated.

And tyring to close the last angry support request I made as a courtesy, I see it had been marked as “solved” presumably becasue I didn;t close the pages it redirected me to. Which may well have happened with the other one that got zapped.

I remain deeply unimpressed
