The license setup for the ur816c was really obtuse in my opinion and so how do I transfer my licenses to a new computer? Do I need to? Am I allowed to use my existing license on 2-3 computers?
You do not need any license to use the UR816C device. The license is for the VST plugin versions of the built-in FX. If you don’t use those VST plugins, there is no need for any license.
So, what’s your situation?
I guess I want to use the plugins.
Normally a STeinberg license is for just one computer. when you install it on th C-drive.
But if you buy an E-licenser stick, you can put those licenses on it and plug it in any compuer you want.
