New controller as AI knob?

I bought the Griffin USB Powermate and I’m wondering if anyone knows if it can be set up to function as the AI knob on the CC121?

Hi,

If it does send MIDI data, and if you can modify it, and if you are on Windows, then you could “hack” it. You could set it to send the same MIDI Note as AI knob on CC121 sends, Add the CC121 as your Remote Device and set Powermate as an Input.

On Mac it doesn’t work, because the CC121 device doesn’t appear in the list, when the real CC121 is not connected.

The most close way on Mac would be to send a mouse scroll-wheel data from the Powermate.
