The current cubase crash does not report the crash to Steinberg as the apple App crash report does:
In the current system we email Steinberg the report as to how that happened and the crash file.
What I am proposing is that . If a crash occurs, the steinberg product is reopened, a form similar to this will be displayed:
This way, Steinberg receive a structured data for each crash from us and it will be much easier for us as well. I suppose the OS version and other things such as VST’s and plugins can be compressed or hashed and sent to Steinberg for further inspection.
