New Cubase 10.5 block on the safe mode

hello Guys,

First sorry for my english, i m swiss french speaker… I recently contact the cubase assistance but no answer from them…more than one week !!

I recently instal the cubase 10.5 (with the 10.5.3 upgrade) and from the beginning i have big trouble to open it.

First it open in safe mode, then i can work without problems with vst’s and audio pists.
If i close my cubase, the second attemp to open cubase does not work, and it block on “AUdio alignment” chargement …It give me 2 error messages, the first that “Audio alignment” cause an error, then that “Cubase artist” cause an error…

If you have an idee to help me would be great :slight_smile:

My expectation is, your Cubase is crashing. Could you please attach a crash/.dmp file(s)

Mac: macOS Console utility > User Reports folder or Crash Reports in macOS 10.15 (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Win: Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps

Btw, it’s the eLicenser issue. Could you try to unplug the USB-eLicenser and plug it back, please?

I did this 2 things, but alway the same things…

Cubase run on the first opening . If i close it, when i run again, it crash…

Could you try to reinstall eLCC (the latest update) and make sure you are installing it as administrator, please?

When installing eLCC

"L’application ‘LCC2’ a causé l’erreur suivante:

  • Cliquez sur pour quitter.

Can you tell me where i can contact steinberg helpline, cause i send several message and nobody answer…

It begin to anoy a lot because i need to start new projects and i m really disturbed by this problem

Sorry, I don’t have other source for the technical support, but the official one.

I would try to connect the USB-eLicenser to other USB port. If you are using USB hub, I would try to connect it directly to the computer and vice versa. Try USB2, if the USB-eLicenser is connected to USB3 port, please.

I would laso try to plug it to other computer and test it on other system.

Isn’t your USB-eLicenser broken by any chance?
