New Cubase LE AI Elements 8 Projects Won't Open

Hi. I’m using a MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I recently made two new projects in Cubase LE AI Elements 8 and came back to them a day later, but I can’t open them. Whenever I click on the project files to open them, it only opens the documents folder where I keep all my music. How do I fix this issue?

Does it mean you can’t see the project window at all? How do you open the projects? From File Explorer or from Cubase or drag-and-drop?

Yeah. I can’t see the project window. I tried opening the projects through file explorer and Cubase using the recent projects and file-open methods, but all it does is open my folder with my music projects.

Do you have any Cubase Workspaces available? If yes, could you call one of the workspace, please?

No, I don’t have any workspaces

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?

It worked. I thought I must’ve changed something with my preferences for Cubase, but I don’t remember doing so. Thank you so much!

Then I would probably recommend to trash the Cubase preferences.
