New Finale life?

If it’s the program I’m thinking of, it’s playback capabilities were WAAY past what basically anything else was capable of at the time, or for at least a decade thereafter. Limited to just general MIDI, but it had quite a bit of “musical intelligence” that went a long way. Sort of noteperformer without the sounds.

As a cellist in a chamber group guilty of many of these performance quirks, legit LOLing over here

“Reduce orchestration slightly and activate ‘dropping pencils’ sample library”, not me, never done that nope

Thank you. Very well done! I haven’t laughed this hard in quite awhile. Bravo!

Ok, that helps explain why MuseGroup was absent from NAMM last January. I was hoping he could give a reason why MuseScore 5 is two years late. I guess that no one is in a hurry to make it the defacto notation app for Hal Leonard which is fine by me.

Only Hal Leonard Publishing put in an appearance. Interesting tap dancing when I brought up how bad HLP Customer Service has been lately. All of the phone numbers in the Support email are disconnected plus the inside numbers given me by HLP reps at NAMM. I really dislike resolving issues by charging back on my credit cards. I certainly hope they get this straightened out soon. Sad when I’ve been doing business with a company since 1972, ya know?
