Hi, when creating the new folder with group channel option track I don’t get the picture on top of the tracks with all the tracks of this folder in it like I would get when creating a regular folder track
Can you provide a screenshot?
Right click the folder track and choose “show data on folder track” and you’ll be good to go!

It would be useful if it could show “automation” and “event details” (on the background) at the same time. For multi-mic’ed sources, I used to keep all of them in a collapsed folder except for one (to have a visual cue) and the group track where I’d write automation. This was still 3 track rows for something that I treated as a single source, and it broke the group editing capabilities for the track left outside the folder. Group folders have the potential to keep everything in a single row, but we’re not there yet. Waveform representation (“show event details”) as a visual cue for group editing while the folder is collapsed is already solved. Now we need to be able to write automation while having some visual feedback without having to expand the folder. At least we could have it show “event details” when collapsed and “automation” when expanded. Now “show event details” is not compatible with “show automation”.
