New Groove Agent 6 SE has no presets loaded-FIXED in last post

All the presets are red now.

I have tried to load them using the Steinberg Library app.

First problem I had was missing kits then I got this error file.

Some content is missing:

No idea how to resolve this.

This ALL started because I thought my Groove Agent 6 SE was broken due to the pattern editor but I had to figure it out myself that you have to use a midi kb to trigger the pattern editor,not the transport inside Groove Agent.

So vague the instruments and unintuitive to use.

Now my Groove Agent is a mess.

Who knows what other instruments I have broken.

No instrument has a simple button for you to select where the sample library is.

You have to go through the library app and ALT click move for each section but I am not even sure that works.

Well it did not work for the content and presets of Groove Agent 6 SE.

The library app tells me everything is healthy when it is the opposite.

At a loss.

P.S. now Cubase takes FOREVER when starting an EMPTY project.

I need answers on how to fix this.

The Library app is a waste of time.

The download manager needs a DOWNLOAD location and INSTALL location in it.

All it has is a DOWNLOAD location to choose.

THat’s where all these missed presets,and missing libraries come from.

The Library manager does not work properly!!!

Search on google “Steinberg media bay”. Download and re-install (it will say already installed) the latest version. Good luck.

Fixed this by uninsalling everything then redownloading everything.

After everything was installed,I activated using the activation manager.

This is where I ran into problems but now fixed.

I ALT clicked the first library item in the LIbrary app which I assumed selects everything listed to move to another drive.

I have since found out that does not work so I manually moved every library item.

Everything working again.

Thanks for letting us know, glad that you found a solution. But the Library Manager should have taken care of this. Sometimes the helper gets disabled by CCleaner or other so called maintenance apps. Please make sure that the service for com.steinberg.HALionLibraryInstallerHelper is enabled to avoid running into future problems like this.
Edit: Also make sure that the Steinberg Library Manager, and Steinberg Download Assistant have access to your content install locations in Apples Transparency, Consent and Control settings. You find them in your System Settings > Privacy and Security > Files and Folders.
This will be disabled if you ever clicked Don t allow in any of the pop ups asking to access Downloads, External Volumes etc. so always double check if the permissions are given, in case you run into trouble with content.
