All updates and 5x Install Missing VST Sounds are installed, and now I have content for which I don’t have a license (Anima, Eagle…).
Was that intentional, or is it a mistake?

Unfortunately, we just discovered a problem with the Steinberg Library Manager. So, you shouldn’t end up with unlicensed content after updating. But we are aware of it and are already working on a solution. There will be a fix very very soon. Please be patient for a moment.

You only have the Groove Agent SE Factory content. Raw Power is a part of the Groove Agent 5 Content. You dont have GA 5

All of a sudden (at least from what I remember it’s been different), GA shows as not activated in the Activation Manager. As the owner of an Absolute 6 license, it should either not show up there at all or show up as activated, no?
And in case this is normal, how do I remove that entry?
All this on macOS 15.6.1.
And another question: The entire GA content seems to be updated. Is the old content still where it was or does it get deleted automatically? In case it’s not needed anymore, I’d like to get rid of it.
installed it and all seems to be working well on my system.
Yeah, seemed to work well for me, too. No leftovers of older installs, either.

You have GA 5.2.30 installed and it s not visible in your Kit Browser? Please contact our support.
i use SM Jazz Drums and just checked on my setup. They work fine. It good to see GA getting some TLC.

Good to know, it may be that I just never checked on this new build PC, so it might not be due to just the update. All other expansions (including SP Studio Drums) are working fine. Strangely, I can see the styles, but not the kits.
Have logged my issue with Steinberg support.
I don’t know why these icons were changed.
Vintage, Studio, Rock, Instr.
It’s hard to tell them apart now.
The earlier icons were better.

yes, nicer Icons might indeed look better.
Yet the new *.vstsound container structure is much more consistent now.
Including the 5 previously missing preset files that belong to those factory drum / percussion kits.
Before, and If I’m not entirely mistaken, all relevant files were automatically registered upon install, in a single folder named “Groove Agent Factory Content”. Like this:
Now you could make yourself 6 distinct folders, name them like the content set packages, install the most recent GA content updates, and then open Steinberg Library Manager and move all 6 relevant package files - plus their respective preset files - into those folders. This is the new structure:

Hello dear friends,
After the update of Groove Agent (SE) 5.2.30 Maintenace (19GB + & 7GB), i realise that something seems wrong…
- The Vintage Kit shows the message license missing
- The Kit appearence is red
- The graphics of the icon The Kit SE looks like swaped with the the Kit icon…
Please any help???

first of all, the update is not 19GB + 7GB big. Its less than 10GB in total and only when you have Groove Agent 5 full installed. It looks like you have done the update manually?
Can you say when you have done the update?
- You dont have the Groove Agent 5 license activated or available. Please check Steinberg Activation Manager. You must have Groove Agent 5 full license to load Vintage Kit and The Kit.
- Same as 1. The Groove Agent 5 license is missing.
- How many Files do you have registered under Details? When you see 5 files there (2 files for GASE The Kit SE and 3 files for GA The Kit) this is correct and a know cosmetic issue.
If you dont own Groove Agent 5 please contact our support: They can help you to delete unwanted content.

So, the update took place at Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Firstly i open a project and i realise that the Groove Agent SE plugin totaly missing (vst instrument, contents etc everything), i receive the message
"The plug-in “Groove Agent SE” could not be found for Instrument Track “Groove Agent SE 01”!
After that i checked the Download Assistand and i find out that some new updates are pending,(Groove Agent SE 5 5.2.30 Instument and content(Install Missing VST Sounds).
The contents installed in 2 parts and i’m not sure about the total size of each other, but as previously referend by the user Nemanja86 i think that update assistant first showed 19GB and next 7GB of missing files…

What do you think??? It is all just a matter of different contents between GA5 and GA5 SE ?

The Kit and Vintage Kit are parts of Groove Agent 5 content. NOT Groove Agent SE content.
Please delete those content. You dont have a license for those.
